Srinagar\25\\: While terming the complete shutdown observed against the slapping of PSA on pro-freedom leader Masarat Alam Bhat and shifting him to the Kotbilwal jail in Jammu as an eye opener for the PDP-BJP coalition government, All Parties Hurriyat Conference said that every individual of Kashmir is overfilled with the freedom sentiment and this sentiment have neither been suppressed in the past and nor can it be defused in future by using force and excesses. While thanking the people for observing complete shutdown, Hurriyat Conference demanded immediate release of all the political prisoners including the Masarat Alam Bhat and said that the imprisoning of pro-freedom leadership will not prevent their ideology to reach the people. In a statement issued to the press, while commented over the rejection of the bail application of Masarat Alam Bhat by the court of CJM Budgam, hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar said that Jammu & Kashmir High Court had clearly stated in a case of 1984 that waving of flag is no crime and it can’t be termed as waging of war against any country. Hurriyat Conference said that soon after the return of Geelani sahib, Budgam police station registered FIR against many pro-freedom leaders including Masarat Sahab and no serious charges were mentioned in the FIR and it was anyway a bailable case but on the media pressure the police then after many days introduced 121 and 121A like sections into the FIR which if proved can go to death penalty. Spokesman also mentioned the discussion of the layers in the court of CJM that introduction of such sections in the FIR by the police under the media pressure is an illegal act and it has no moral or constitutional justification. Hurriyat spokesman said that the detention of Masarat Alam and rejection of his bail application can neither threaten the pro-freedom camp nor can this attitude help in solving the Kashmir problem. Rulers of Delhi and their local agents in Kashmir should shun their rigid and stubborn approach and accept the ground realities and they should bear in mind that no Kashmiri is satisfied over the Indian occupation and he will continue to raise his voice against this forced occupation.
