All parties Hurriyat conference on Saturday in a statement asked youth to show restraint during braid chopping attempts by miscreants, saying that while dealing with the issue they should follow instructions of Syed Ali Geelani and maintain discipline as vested interests are trying to deviate us and trying their hard to malign our movement.

Terming various incidents wherein many innocents were thrashed and even in Sopor some persons tried to burn alive a mentally unsound person, Hurriyat said that it is extreme unfortunate, sad and frightening.

It is a well-planned ploy to deviate our attention, said Hurriyat and added that in the crucial times we need to take care of all this, as conspiracies are being hatched to create chaos and anarchy in society.

We need to follow the guidelines as laid by Syed Ali Geelani, said Hurriyat and observe restraint as we are duty bound to keep watch over these elements involved in assault on women, saying that we have asked to constitute local Mohalla committees and handover all suspected persons to credible members of committee for investigations, recording statements and for future course of action so as no innocent is implicated or guilty is allowed to leave by authorities.

No one should attack or deal with any suspected person, Hurriyat said while referring to Geelani’s message and added, as there are more chances that their associates & colleagues may take advantage of this and malign the situation as reported from several places, said Hurriyat.

We need to keep close vigil on such elements as they are desperate to spoil our sacred freedom movement and divine ethical values, said Hurriyat, saying that these elements are trying hard to bring bad name to our cherished goal.

Hurriyat while referring to Geelani’s literarily work, his directives and speeches, said that he has always emphasized youth to develop culture of obedience, demonstration of discipline and stressed youth to follow moral and human values during protest demonstrations and while patrolling their localities.
