Reacting on UN's Sec General Antonio Guterres wherein he said ,"UN did its job"  Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai said, It is time for the UN to act decisively or forever lose its relevancy . Sehrai said, oppressed Kashmiris find this continuing silence and complete inaction by the UN on the continuing plight and persecution an unfortunate testament to the failure of the UN to fulfil its basic principles of upholding human rights and protecting people from indian brutalities. Sehrai said,In the wake of ongoing Kashmir genocide, it was expected that the UN would assert the principle of humanitarian intervention without discrimination but Sadly, so far the UN has failed to live up to its own Charter.It is time to live up to that commitment on which the UNO was founded.we urge the UN Sec General to take immediate steps to implement the recommendations of the recent UNHRC report on kashmir and restore institutional credibility.

Moreover,TeH Chairman denounced the arrest of three Pulwama youths Amir Shafi Bhat,Mohd Shafiq Mir and Suhail wagay slapping PSA on them and shifting them to outside the valley.He said,such repressive” measures  are being used as tools to punish the innocent youths and to force Kashmiris into a submission.Authorities deliberately pushing youth towards the wall and ruining their academic carrier.

Further,Sehrai sahib shocked and condemned the LD Hospital shameful incident where authorities denied the admission of poor lady in hospital resulting in birth of dead baby on rad side in nail biting cold.

Meanwhile,(TeH)Delegation led by General Sec .Ameer Hamzah accompanied by Syed Imtiyaz Haider visited the residence of Nisar Hussain Rather and Mustaq UL Islaam and expressed satisfaction on their release.
